Sullivan Lake 2009

Well, another year is in the books. We had a great time camping at Sullivan as usual. The first few days brought some excitement because of frequent rainshowers, thunderstorms and even a tornado warning! At one point we were pretty sure we could have kayaked from the firepit to the lake. It was truly an amazing amount of rain! Thankfully, for the most part we all weathered the storm fairly well and were able to dry everything out and hit the beach!

The usual water fun was enjoyed by all, tubing, skiing, jumping off the bridge, the ropeswing and of course swimming! The girls were little fish this year, they spent more time in the water swimming than on the shore eating snacks this year!

Thank you to the official camp photographer, Grandma Kim, for so many great photos!

We think this is hail on Hall Mt, but either way, it is never good to see it covered in anything white while you are camping!!

The Moms and the kids decide to emerge from the campers after the downpour.

They look an awful lot alike in this picture!

WOW!! That is a good looking bunch of kids! :)

Everyone had a great time jumping off the bridge. Some jumps were prettier than others, I won't name any names, I will just leave it up to your judgement of the photos. :)

Sydney was even brave enough to go this year! She says it is one of her favorite things about her camping trip!

Lots of people hit the water skis this year, even Grandpa Rick skiied!!

"You can make me ski, but you can't make me like it"

This should be an advertisement for the Sullivan Lake t-shirts!

Welcome to spin class!!

No camping trip would be complete without a trip to the rope swing. We even saw three bighorn sheep while the guys were jumping!

Until next year.......
