A few fun things in May

Warm weather is finally here! The girls asked me today, is it summer now? I dare say- summer weather has arrived!! We have been spending all our time outside, we haven't been in before 9 the last two nights, it is wonderful!

Jen took the girls down to riverfront park for a fun-filled day of riding the carousel and checking out the river. The river is really roaring right now, we felt like we had a shower after going on what we call the "get wet bridge". This is one of Jen's favorite ways to welcome spring in Spokane, we take a walk across the footbridge by the YMCA, it is always a damp experience! Here are some pics from our day at Riverfront:

Time to have some cake! Decided it was easier to just give the girls the whole cake since it was starting to get old. It was rather amusing to watch them eat it.
