The Trip to Racheal Wedding

On our way to Racheal's wedding we stopped in Missoula to ride their beautiful carrousel. Even Grandma Hobbs got on for a ride! The girls are carrousel fanatics, Sydney is actually saving her money to buy her own carrousel, at least she has big goals!! The story of "A carrousel for Missoula" is pretty interesting, check out their link at http://www.carrousel.com/index.php

Sydney and Dad on the pretty horses, Justin actually got in trouble for grabbing the ring from the middle horse, like we say at Volleyball, he has go-go gadget arms!

YEA Grandma!!! She said "You guys do fun things, what are we doing next?"

Grandma Hobbs and Sydney go for a spin, Grandma said she wasn't sure how cowboys spent hours in the saddle!

There is also a really neat playground next to the carrousel, we all had fun playing! Here are a few pics from the playground

We made a second trip to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman MT. It was so much fun last summer we had to do it again. The kids love seeing the dinosaurs, and this year we even got to see some replicas of the artifacts found in the King Tut tomb. There is a "frontier land" outside the museum where you can trace the path of Lewis & Clark by doing activities they would have done on their journey. We all had a really fun time playing on the boat and in the Teepee's.

The girls ride a stagecoach!

The last fun "tourist" thing we did was to visit Zoo Montana in Billings. It is a small zoo that was great for the kids, they probably got more excited by the horse than the red pandas.

These 2 eagles were injured in the wild, so now they reside at Zoo Montana. It was pretty neat, while we were standing there watching them, they were "talking" to each other. The kids loved it!

Where are those pygmy marmosets? We never did find the monkeys....

I think this one is so cute with Paige & Elaina looking at each other!

Sydney trying to catch a peacock so that she could pluck another feather from it!
