Ross Creek Cedars

Over the 4th we took a family vaction and made a trip over to the Bull Run river area in Montana. The kids (and Dad & Mom) had a blast camping and hiking for a few days. While there we went up to the Ross Creek Cedars near Bull Lake. It was absolutly gorgeous, the kids had so much fun playing in the trees.

The girls had SO much fun in the trees. They found that they could climb into some of the trees and play. After that they went around all the trees searching for an entrance to the tree so they could use it as a fort. It was called the "fairy forest" because according to Sydney, "You feel like a fairy when you get to go inside a big tree". Isn't it fun to hear how magical a simple thing like a burned out tree is to a 4-year-old!!
